I am using MS WORD in an XP HOME system. Have not had any
real problems, except within the last two weeks, when I
click on the blank page icon to open a "New Document," I
get a clean page, but it does not have a blinking cursor

suddenly, i am unable to get a new blank document.  each
time i try, it posts the last document. assistance in
fixing this is most appreciated

I just bought a new Office 2003. It did nothing for the
problem that I have experienced with Word 2000:
Every time I open Word one of our document shows, rather
than a blank page.

Everytime I open a pre-existing document with any Office
program such as Access, Excel, Word and so on I receive
an error message stating that C://..../THE FILE NAME.doc
is being used.  Do you want to make a copy?

I recently installed Acrobat ver 5.0 on my XP system. Word 2000 now
gives and error when I try to exit. Anyone know of a patch or fix for

I have recently upgraded from NT4 servers to W2K Active
Directory servers. All files have transfered and
everything seemed OK. But, the MS Word 2000 documents are
very slow to open 40 seconds plus. They are still slow

Can MS Word (.doc) documents be read by MS Works?  I
assumed basic Word documents could be read but advanced

I use cross-references heavily in some of the documents I
create.  I find that sometimes, when I print, Word

I have word open and once I fill a page with text it stops and does
not go to the next pages. Just started happening.  Using in print
view.

Some keys no longer perform as before, e.g. When I highlight text and press 'Delete' key the text is not deleted, but a 'Delete block? No (Yes) prompt appears at the foot of the screen.  Does anybody know what has caused this and how to correct?
