MS office 2000 premium, using Windows XP home. When opening a document from 'file-open then 'save as' it works OK. If you open a document direct then 'save as' word starts

When using Save As it takes as long as 45 secondes to browse to a new location. This is true with any microsoft but if using adobe(pdf) it only takes about 3 seconds
