I have Microsoft Word 2000.  When I save a file, then re-
open it, it says:  The File <filename> is not available.
I went to the knowledge base area and their suggestion
was to save the file to a different location, since the

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office XP. I have

Can't get Word to boot up.  All I get is the logo with
the reg.# and the normal grey background.  I re-installed
Word (which is part of Office 2000) twice now with no
change.  I'm at a loss.  Can anyone3 help?
Word 97 docs corrupt when opened in Word 200231 Aug 2004 17:25 GMT1
We have recently rolled out XP with Office 2002. Now when
users open Word Docs which were created in Word 97 they
often corrupt. Anyone else seen this before or got any
ideas? We used to have Windows 98. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes when I go File->Print the print dialog window "pops under" other
windows including the windo for the document I'm trying to print. When this
happens the task bar icon for that flashes orange. I have to hunt around on
the desktop to find the dialog window and or minimise ...

Cannot open files from within Office 200331 Aug 2004 14:49 GMT2
I am running Office 2003 in Windows XP Pro with service
pack 2.  When I use Word, I get an error stating Word has
encountered an error and must shut down.  The error codes
are as follows:

I am running Word 2000 under Windows me operating system.
I down loaded some upgrades and now the system freezes up
when I try to open word. I've fixed one problem but is
there a known/specific fix for "winword caused an error

In Word, occaisionally my Intellipoint mouse wheel will begin to scroll the
document horizontally rather than vertically and the only way I've found out
of this problem is to restart the document.  I'm not seeing any kb docs so
is this some sort of 'feature' I'm turning on ...

Hello, I went to open Word 2000 SR1-a this morning and
while Word opened, the window within the window (where the
text and tools reside) were clear, I could see my desktop
through Word.  It didn't resolve after a reboot.  Any

Everytime I try to open a file in Word 2003, by clicking
on the word file itself word starts up but the document
does not load.  It has a blank word screen with nothing on
it.  If I go back to the file a click it again it loads up
