Running XP Home Edition, Word 2003, part of Office 2003.
Copy function does work, that is the copied text shows the
copied text on the clipboard.
Copy-Paste function does work within WORD, but not from

My Normal.dot file has been modified somehow so that it always has a XXXX.doc
file name.  It used to pick up the first few words in the document as the
suggested file name, but not anymore.  How can erase the XXXX.doc file name

When I map styles to TOC levels, the TOC will change
appropriately, but the next time I open the Index and
Tables dialog, all of the options have changed back. My
changes are not saved. For example in the TOC options, a

get PDFMaker with Windows 2000 and Office 2000, or Windows

Hi i am using word 2003. When i Open a document and print it prints fine but
when i make any changes to it and save and then print, the program stops
responding, it takes up almost 100%  CPU utilization and needs to be killed
before I can do anything.

I just installed Office 2002 (XP) under Windows 2000 Pro.

When I open my word docuement I get the message "Word 2000
A table in this document has become corrupted.  To recover
the contents of the table: select the table and choose
Convert Table To Text From the Table Menu."  All of my
