Without meaning to, I got out of a Word document without saving it.  Is there anyway I can retrieve it?

I just have started to receive this error in Word 2000
with SP-3. "The Disk is full or too many files are open."
I tried trouble shooting this problem as described in the
MS's Help page. But still am unable to resovle this issue.

Everytime I try to open a file in Word 2003, by clicking
on the word file itself word starts up but the document
does not load.  It has a blank word screen with nothing on
it.  If I go back to the file a click it again it loads up

Several of you have already downloaded SP2.  I wonder how
many of you have tried the following and ended up with an
error message?  I have confirmed this with three other SP2

Whenever using Word 2003 my computer will hang and it

This problem has to do with either Word or Outlook, but in my opinion, it
needs to be fixed PRONTO!
Here's the story.

Whenever I open an Office 2002/2003 document, I get the
error message below. I tried the following and all failed:
- Uninstalled Office 2002
- Uninstall Norton Antivirus Corperate edition 7

Recently, Word started crashing upon loading.  I get this
