On opening MS Word in only one of my 4 accounts in Windows XP (Pro), I get a
"send error report/recover document" message.  Word does not stay open in
this account only.  If I open a previously created document, it stays open
only until I try to use the menu bar, and then I again ...

jpg recd. shows as - Message HTML. When I click to open jpg, MSWORD opens
with pop-up menu called "Convert File". I don't seem to be able to see the
jpg "picture" - just screens of weird characters.
What should I do?

Changing the units in options does nothing on the displayed rulers. They on
stuck on mm's or something.  I tried running the installation repair
application already.

I have both version 7 of Endnote and MS Word 2003 installed on my computer
but I cannot make them communicate.
I know that it should be possible to "cite while you write" by going to
Tools>Endnote in Word but I do not appear to have this option

Documents created with Word 2003 that include .jpg photos get corrupted when
the filesize exceeds about 19 megabytes in size.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Does anyone have a fix?

have 2 pc's. loaded microsoft word into 2nd PC but when I try to register
online It tells me it's already registered and it will only run 47 more times
before I have to activate this product.
Is there anyway around this?????

I am supporting several users that are start the day with a clicking frenzy.  
This results in their opening several instances of the Winword.exe process.  
The creates error messages and quirky behavior as both instances of Word try
to latch onto and hold normal.dot only to find ...

When I try to open any word docs I get the error message it is not available.
When I got to close out of the empy Word window, it tells me the file
Normal.dot already exists, do I want to change it.  I click NO, then try to
close the window again and it takes me to the Template ...

Office 2003, Windows XP
In a Word document, landscaped, I cannot get my text centered. I've checked
my page setup which is fine. I've tried Ctrl/E as well as the center button
on my toolbar.   It centers the text at 3" even though my margins are 11" x

  Many times I will make a line in a document by typing the dash or hyphen key
a few times and hitting return, making a line across my page.
  How can I delete or cut this line out ?

With my upgraded Office package I have found that when copying pages from the
internet ie copies of receipts etc., and then trying to paste them in Word in
order to keep my records, the programme locks out and will not paste.  I am
also finding that I am unable to Forward emails ...

my 'normal' global template in word 2003 won't work. in fact, word won't
open any document at all. i've tried the auto-repair function, and
reinstalled office, but to no avail. i keep getting a dialogue box that says

My battery died on my laptop the other evening and when I resumed working the
following day and opened Word 2002, I noticed the left column listed two
documents which had been "recovered".  I did nothing other than close Word
and didn't worry about it since I had saved both ...
