Word was working fine yesterday yet today everytime I try
and open it I get this error message:

When I insert an image (drawing, line, etc.) into the footer, the page number
goes to zero instead of one.
I tried formatting the page number to say "Start with 1" but that doesn't
work. (There are no section breaks in the document either)

It started with just an error message, explaining word had encountered an
error and has to close, when i would be working on a document.
Now it does it, and tries to recover, when i simply turn on my pc, and or
open my email.  It is trying to recover the Normal Doc.  it then goes ...

Hi folks.  We installed service pack 2 last week,and
since then we have had a problem with  MS WORD.
When we try to access the program, the word page comes
up, and then immediately defaults back out of the program.

I have 2 different laptops with Office 2003 Small
Business Edition. When connected to the network they work
fine. When disconnected, both laptops produce an error
saying "Word has generated an error and needs to close".

If anyone can help, I have a problem with MS Word 2003 displaying the
hyperlink tags in the document as opposed to the text.  If I right click on
the text and select "Select Hyperlink" the text displays although it always
reverts to the hyperlink eventually.  This started happening ...
