I am getting a Windows Installer error 1605 when I try to search for information in Word help (using XP). The only way to get rid of the resulting notification is Cntl-Alt-Delete and kill the application. How can I fix the search so I get a list of topics and not the 1605 ...

Problem in being unable to opern WORD. Reinstalled Office 2000. continual erro: Winword exe@017f:300b729f. Cannot seenm to trouble shoot teh problem. Could it be linked to Internet Explorer?

This is a re-posted message (slightly revised) as my last seemed to be ignored. When I click on "file open" I get a message which reads :- "You do not have access to the folder <default storage folder path>\*.*.

In MS Word there is the "Insert Symbol" feature. "Basic Greek" is a subset of available characters. The symbol denoted "phi" is actually "varphi", which is different. In geometry, one always uses "phi" NOT "varphi". Here is an image showing the greek letters and in particular, ...
