I have recently downloaded the Windows XP service pack 2 and since then when

I have permission on a file to which I have unrestricted access.  I cannot
edit it or do anything at all.  No one else will be using the file now.  I
want to get the permission lifted so that I do not have this problem any

I'm running Word 2002 SP-2 on Win XP on an internal network.  I very
frequently end up with a horizontal rectangular area of my screen blocked out
by a snapshot from the screen of another open application that just get's
"stuck" on my Word document.  No scrolling, minimizing, ...

Each time I attempt to paste text or graphics in a word document the message
'EZP' appears in the toolbar.  Eventually a red square shows up in place of
the object/text to be copied.

Whenever I cut and paste a text in a word document, even from the same
document, it appears in capitals. I know how to change afterwards it but it
is anoying. And no, Caps lock is not the reason. Any idea? Thanks a lot!!

I've got ScanSoft's PaperPort Pro 9 Office on my PC. This adds a
"Print to PaperPort" command to the File menu in Word and puts a
button to do the same on a toolbar. Can these be removed? I've tried
the usual way, but both come back the next time Word is started.
