How can I get heavy black lines from appearing in Word document?16 Nov 2004 03:55 GMT2
I am typing a form into Word and on page 6 I started to get darker(heavier)
than normal black line across the page.  I can't get rid of them!  They seem
to come in sets of two or three.  I'm using Office 2003.

If I have a file open in Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3) and click FILE, SAVE AS,
the expected dialog box does not appear. And the MS Word button on the
taskbar at the bottom flashes orange. If you click that, the SAVE AS dialog
window does then appear, and everything works OK.

Why do I get error 1402 when I try to run word 2000? I can't install,
uninstall, or repair.

my word is opening in safe mode, it appears a message saying that it has
ocorred an error.. I've allready uninstalled and installed microsoft office,
and the error is still there!!

When I wish to open a word document I get:

I have a P4 3.4GHz EE, Windows XP SP2, with the ATI x800xt video card.
When I insert a picture (either from a file on my hard-drive, or from
the internet) into a Word 2002 document - the picture is invisible -

When I try to add scrolling text to a web page, I get an error message saying

When I check the option "Print 2 pages per sheet", in the right part of the
windows the print preview appears as 2 sheets A5 in vertical. If I check
"Horizontal", the printe preview appears blank.
In other words, HOW CAN I PRINT 2 PAGES (p.ex. 12 x 12 cm) IN ONE SHEET?

I've just installed MS Office Pro 2003 in place of my previous Office
Pro XP (which I uninstalled prior to the new installation). I then
wanted to install the MS Remove Hidden Data tool. I downloaded this
and ran the installation, and it duly appears in the File Menu (and

On XP Pro.
One account works fine, but on the other account, Word (only Word, not

I used to have Word 2000 and have since upgraded to Word 2003.  All of my
files I created using Word 2000 and any new files I create using Word 2003

I have Word 2003 now on my system. When I open an older file, created in Word
97, Word crashes and I can't open the file. I can open it in Word 2000. I am
running WIndows XP  (newly installed). Anyone else have this problem?
