In certain documents (the example I discoverd this in was a
20+ page document with a few drawing canvases), use of
Thumbnail view drives utilization well over 90%+ even when
doing nothing else.

when ever i open word or front page the program runs fine for a few seconds
than the hard drive flashes and then word crashes. I have installed all of
the updates for office. I have ran adware and spy bot. still I can't get word
to run for more than 10 seconds.

I am missing an operating system.  can you help me install one?

When opening a file in word 98 on my windows 98 pc via the
little drop down box to select the drive, it crashes!
The machine has enough memory etc and has only recently
started doing this.

I open the Word application and it works (office assistant appears) but

When saving work docs to my server I get "works cannot save (filename). There
may not be enough space on the computer or works cannot save the file to the
specified destination". However if I click save after the message, document
saves with no propblem.

I receive this error when trying to save a word file (office 2000),
"[Project]_SaveDoc Error:  52 Bad file name or number". This only happens
when I use "save as" option. I can go to exit word and then save it. Has
anyone seen this before?

The subject above summarises my problem. For some reason, when trying to
insert an equation into a word document, if I use brackets, and follow it by

When I try to open a document in word (File -> Open) the file list displayed
for 'my documents' is in what seems like random order.   How do I make it
display in alphabetical order.   (I have office 2003)

When I save a document I keep getting %20% where there should be a space.  I
ran detect and repair and this is still happening.

For the past month, everytime I clicked on any item on the drawing toolbar,
Word would open an image box in my document (even if I only wanted to draw a
line).
Now, if I click on the drawing toolbar Word shuts down altogether.
