Everytime I start up Word it will open word for a few seconds and then proced
to fail and try to recover the document. If I try to recover it will reopen
it and do the samething. If I choose not to recover the document it will just
close the application.

When I save a document in Word 2003 the format changes.  The most recent
document contains a table and it changes the last row to a series of Ys with

I just installed MS Office 2003 for Students.  The list of previously opened
files will not display. The check box under "tools," "general" is greyed-out.
Any suggestions? I was able to find and open any files I need, but it would
be nice to not have to hunt them down every time.

When I select text and apply formatting to it, the entire document gets the
formatting.  When I select UNDO, the rest of the documents reverts to it's
original formatting but the selection I originally tried to format is now
correctly formatted.  

I had a 4 page paper and the I tried to open it up but I accidently click on
the save button and I didn't realize that I saved my document accidently and
