I cannot use either excel or word.  Word says that the document is locked.  I
cannot use any of the toolbars or menus as they are greyed out on all
documents even previously saved ones.

When I import a Jpeg or Tiff graphic into a word document, resize it
(smaller) change graphic layout to tight next to text paragraph then try to
move the graphic around it mysteriously snaps back to the original location.

When I open or close Word 2003 I get a VB error:
"Compile error in hidden module:  AutoExec"

This setting will not stick in Word 2003.
When I turn it on using Tools - Customize - Options tab and check the box as
stated in the Subject it displays the 2 toolbars on 2 rows.
