Is there a work around to save files in Word 2003?01 Feb 2005 18:50 GMT2
I am unable to "save" or "Save As" in Word2003 - Office SP1 has been
installed (which is supposed to contain a patch for this problem) and "Fix
and Repair" from Word Help Menu does not fix the problem.
Is there  a "work around" or do I have to uninstall and reinstall Ofice 2003

Never had a problem with WORD before, Now today when I try to open a document
it opens for about 5 seconds, then the applications closes completely.
I havent used it in a couple of weeks.

I cannot make any changes to any of my existing Word documents, and the
computer is telling me "this modification is not allowed because the document
is locked". I also cannot type anything in new Word documents as the same
message appears. Does anyone know how to solve this?

How does one show the keyboard layout for a language in the Right hand upper
corner  of a document?   ( Of course, both the language and the keyboard have
been installed).
