How do you remove a page break?

Word 2002 only will open in safe mode for me now.  This morning it was fine.  
Later, at a college website, I clicked on a hyperlink to a Word document and
selected "Open."   Word said it encountered a problem and needed to open in
safe mode.  Now I can't open Word in normal mode ...

Word stops loading (hangs at splash screen), says "insufficient resources",
(76%). Tried "repairing" - no change. Tried "reinstalling" - no change.
Installed additional 256k memory - no change (even gives the same exact value
of 76%). Now that seems really weird! Any thoughts? ...

Somehow, the menu bars (Filename, Edit, etc) do not appear on the document
page. I first notice this after making Word my Outlook editor).

I often insert excel spreadsheet into Word documents.  Sometimes these
spreadsheets will become "corrupt" after I have worked within them.  That is
they will not allow me to reopen them.  What causes this, and how can I
ensure that it does not reoccur?

I would like to turn this function off--have unchecked it numerous times, but
it keeps showing up again!  I tried turning it off through Styles, but have
had no success.  Any suggestions??  Thanks!  Janice

I was working on a document when on the built in menu 'file' went missing. -
I was cahnging background. went through noraml help etc. have reinstalled
word and I have looked in tools and reset my tool bar to no avail. the file
menu is on other applications such as exel etc

When I format selected text (say by underlining it) the whole document is
altered, losing its formatting and becoming underlined. I then have to 'undo'
the last action which corrects the problem. Extremely annoying! How can I
