Have gone in to tools, options, and checked boxes, but then have purposely mispelled words and requested a check and a box comes up saying 'spell check is complete'. What am I doing wrong?

Out of the blue my word will error and shut down. I loose info even if i ha dpreviously saved it. I also get a message regarding changing my normal file and if i want to save it?? Not sure how to fix this

I am trying to sort paragraphs in a document ... each one starts with a page number. I want to sort these paragraphs by the page numbers and I cannot do so... I get the error message "Word cannot sort fields in the selection"... any ideas?

I've been using them for a few years, but now I can't start any Office programs. OE's email dictionary only offers the French dictionary. Win 2K Pro, sp 4, lots of free disk space, other programs run fine. Is there a repair option, maybe using the original Office install disk?

I'm running Office Word 2003 (11.5604.5606) on WinXP Pro V2002, Service Pack 1. Some how I must have changed a setting because whenever I attempt to open a 2nd Word Doc, the first would close before the 2nd opens.

When I'm working in Word, I get up a pop up box with the message "Searching for Shadows". It stays up for a bit and then it disappears. I can't get rid of it. Has anyone seen this before or do I have a virus on my PC?
