In word 2003 every time I open a document an extra icon appear in the
documents folder as a temporary icon.  Ex.  Wrk 1  when I opened it appear
work1.tmp

I'm running Windows 2000 with office 2002.  I extracted a 636 mb file using
winzip to a network drive and also to my local drive (both have several gb's
of space).  Both times it extracted into one generic file.  When I tried
opening it with Word I got the error "word cannot open ...

It looks like garble instead of correctly spaced out words and sentences.

laptop working fine for months and months and now after about 5 seconds

I have a form that was created by someone else who password protected it. I
don't know the password and need to make changes to the form.

Having a printing problem all of sudden with Word 2000. If a file is more
than 4 or 5 folder levels deep, Word will no longer print the file. I get an
error with the following:
Mod name: msvcrt.dll

Whenever I open word I get this message "The command cannot be performed
because a dialog box is open. Click OK, and then close open dialog boxes to
continue."
I see no open dialog boxes, can anyone help?

I saved a Word document to floppy and closed that file, but not Word; which
was running another document.  I later tried some other task and Word locked
searching for the floppy.  It would not free with Ctrl-Alt-Del, I had to
power-off.

Is this a bug in MS Word?
