When I try to alphabetize a list of names it does some of them but I end up
with part of the name still in the wrong order. I tryed with just first names
and just last names with the same results. Would like any help I can get.

Word unexpectedly crashes, with no error messages, no 'inform microsoft'.  It
just simply disappears - including the document I was working on.  
Auto-recover fails to work - the latest document state is not available.

I am trying to import an Excel spreadsheet into a Word document.  Everything
works beautifully except a field that uses a percentage.  Whole number
percentages are fine, but .5 or 1.5 gives me a number like 5.0000000000E-3

Word 2003 will not allow me to fix the column widths in tables.  The Table
menu "Fixed Column Width" does not work, nor does specifying widths in inches.

When I try to start WORD or EXCEL (running Win2000) I get an error message

I password protected a document in Word and I can't get it to open.  I always
use 1 of 3 passwords depending on what I am working on and none of them work.
I am afraid that I hit a wrong key when I originally saved and can't open it
now.

When I open Word 2000 (Win XP Home), the combobox for the font color
icon in any toolbar cannot be opened.  The icon itself works, but I can
not change its color.

I don't have trouble accessing files over the network or saving a file under
the same name, but when I try to change the name, I get a message that says
"folder isn't accessible".  This started happening all of a sudden (maybe
after an automatic update?).

1. Insert a diskette in A:.
2. Start Word 2003 (SP1 installed).
3. Save a document to diskette A.
4. Exit Word.

I use word 2003 I am able to create a custom toolbar but can only retain it
by making it available to Document1 and then saving that as a template. Then
delete the normal.dot template and renam your new template as normal.dot.
