Help! For several years I've tolerated autocomplete bug that I'm sure can be fixed. Problem: Autotext / autocomplete presents words as underlined and mispelled. Yet, it is spelled correctly.

Hello, When I try to save a Word doc to WP5.1 for DOS in the drop down menu, an error comes up telling me the converter only allows viewing WP docs, and cannot save in that format. I have XP 2 with Word 2002. Can anyone help please??

We have Word 2000 and Win XP home. After renaming a Word or excel document and attempting to save on a network shared folderI get the error message - The folder \\xxxxx isn't accessible. The folder may be located on an unavailable volume or protected with a password.

Issue. Files created in Word 2003. Sometimes use templates, sometimes dont. Files sent via Outlook 2003 to 2002 users. Some 2002 users can open and work in the files without issues. Others have WORD CRASH when trying to open the documents. Cannot isolate issue. Home grown ...

Is anyone having a compatibility issue with footnotes?? When I try to insert a footnote into a document that already contains foot notes, I receive the following error message. "Start At must be between 1 and 16383 for this format."

Just noticed this problem when copying cells from excel to word. When copying a large amount of data from an excel table to word the application will hang/use 100% of the cpu. The copy and paste operation will finally finish after about 15 min. anybody have any ideas.

I have Office 2000, and it works great, except when I try to read a Word Perfect document. Word 2000 begins to open (or is open when I try to access the WP doc) and immediately crashes saying "sorry for the inconvenience".

When I try to create any new object, it gives a message: "Error! Not a valid embedded object". I un-Installed Office and then re-installed but error remains. I think once I installed MathType 5.0 which is embedded with Word, after its un-installation this problem started.

I have Word XP installed on Windows XP sp2. Some time in the last week Word has become very slow (20 seconds) when navigating for a file to "save as", "open", "insert", etc. My PC is connected to a network and I have mapped drives.

I'm finishing a large business plan. For whatever reason, Word has started the page numbering over at Page 1 in the middle of the document, and it's also reflected in the TOC. How do I correct this?
