Problem starting Word 2003-

My system locks up whenever I try to copy/paste from a Word document.  This
problem does not occur elsewhere on my system.  I have uninstalled and
reinstalled MS Office Pro 2003 several times to no avail.  Is this a system
problem or an Office problem?  Help, please.  Thanks.

having uninstalled all other cd writing applications.

Some Word documents autocorrect when I don't have the autocorrect box
checked, for example, when inseerting a bullet point every preceding
paragraph converts to a bullet point.

Clip Board automatically and continuously copies screen so copy function is
unavailable.  What button did I hit by accident???

Word 2003 took a step backwards because the Spelling/Grammar checker, after
pressing 'Change,'  now shows both the error and correction.  Word 2002 did

Office XP 2002
In word we can no longer adjust the margins within the documents or the top
bottom.  It defaults to .7 for side and .8 for top!  Do not know how to
change.  Opening a new document and only allows the same frozen margins.
