When I attempt to relocate the cursor in a document, all of the copy
preceding the new cursor location becomes "selected." When I attempt to type
something, everything selected is replaced. I am having difficulty
de-selecting type. Has anyone ever run into this kind of problem ...

This may be a dificult problem but I hope to get it solved. I am able to give
invites but When I recieve them I get them in a strange coded format. I have
checked my security settings and that has not seemed to help.

I recently started getting the following message on many of my documents
when I check the spelling.
The spelling and grammar check is complete.
Text marked with "Do not check spelling or grammar" was skipped.

on the General Tab (Word - Office XP), but it will not stay selected from one
Word session to the next.  I tried replacing normal.dot and I still cannot
get the selection to hold.
The Recently Used List works fine in Excel and Powerpoint.

My 2003 Word Toolbar customization reset back to the standard after the
computer is rebooted.  Toolbar customization on Excel and other Office
programs worked.  Word is the one with this problem.  Does anyone has a clue?

I have been having a consistent problem with Word on XP.  When I am typing in
a Word document, almost every minute and sometimes with greater frequency,
the cursor freezes.  Here's what happens.
1. the cursor freezes

When I try to open Word my computer freezes.  When I try Ctrl, Alt, Del, I
get a message:  your system is dangerously low on resources. I then have to
restart my computer.

I have references in my document with the \n flag to show the number assigned
to the bookmark (H1 level).  It should show Article Three or Article Four,
etc but instead is showing Article and omitting the number;  Other references
to bookmarks at a different level (H2) work fine ...

My word document is currently about 8mb, on that document I have tables,
hyperlink, charts, pictures (copied from elsewhere) and a lot of text (copied
and typed), and the document get updated regularly but from time to time my
documents get corrupt? So what I can I do to prevent ...

I'm trying to insert "Odd Page" section breaks in a document.  They appear to
go in all right, but when I come back to the document later, Word has changed
them all to "New Page" breaks.  Is there some internal setting that I need to

Everytime I open Word it tries to open Microsoft Office XP Professional with
FrontPage.  Then a window opens and says that the feature I am trying to use
is on a CD or other removable disk that is not available. It then asks me to
insert a disk and click ok. Now I could browse, ...

This means when i type a sentance and go to print them they all combine at
the first letter of the line. i'm not sure on what to do

When I copy/paste in Word 2002, it is copying an image of my screen instead
of the text I have highlighted.  Also, my clipboard is full of these images
and they will not delete.  When I try to delete them individually or click
on "clear all" they delete for a split second and ...

when i make aspread sheet in axcel and copy it to word how i can make values
in word changed when i change it in axcel .
