I typed a document in Word and when I saved it to My documents and also to a
floppy all of my formatting in the document was gone.  At the end of the
saved document were 2 pages of gobbledegook - two of which were as follows:

When I try to get clip art many of my selections have the label "dqlxasset".  
I was told that was caused by a corrupted file.  If that is true how do I fix
the corrupted  file?

I recently purchased a fantastic book "Office Document Designer" which came
with CD loaded with document designer tools. The installation setup looks
for Word 10 or 11 or setup terminates. I have office 11 but setup only finds
Power Point and Excel, not Word. I believe setup runs ...

For some reason when I am typing away in a word doc every now and then
the paragraph changes from left aligned to justified
I am not doing this it just happens = I don't know why.
Any ideas if I can switch it off somewhere I have looked but no luck.

My word words in safemode but not regularly but will even freeze in safemode
sometimes.  I have a brand new Dell.  I disabled the Norton's thing like it
was suggested but I haven't downloaded the templates.

when I insert an object in word (or powerpoint), not all of the embedded item
can be seen - parts blocked out by white rectangles.  If I click on the
object to edit it though, all can be seen.
I recall a similar problem I had a couple of years ago but not the fix -

In office 03 when I save a document I want to provide the name.  If across my
PTP network I can only save using the default name from word.  Same happens
if I open an existing doc and try to save as.  I can save as in a different

I have a computer that I have installed Office 2003 on as administrator.

How do I get rid of the squares on my word doc. I have saved a doc on a pen
drive, and I took it to a different computer and it has squares in place of
some of the text. Even on the computer I created the doc in does the same

When I open any word document it displays briefly and then shuts down and an
error message reading "Winword.exe has generated errors and will be closed an
error log is being created."  How can I fix this problem???  Thanks

I work with someone who has a problem with Word 2003, (all service packs up
to date). Word crashes when switching between documents. When he starts Word
back up, the documents are in the recovery window, and they recover fine,
but without the most recent changes. Not quite sure ...
