I tried installing the Word Viewer 2003 (wdviewer.exe) from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=95E24C87-8732-48D5-8689

and got and 'Extracting file failed' dialog.
Anyone have success with this in their x64?

When I ask for to save archive of the Word in floppy, the computer stops,
needing to restart the computer.

When I start up Word 2003 an error message comes up, Heading " Microsoft
Visual BAsic", "macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the
online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to
enable macros."

AutoText entries do not appear the next time I launch Word. I made sure
they're being saved to my current Normal.dot template.
I'm stumped. I've tried everything I can think of.

How can I get the spell checker to work for an entire document ?
The first part has no markings (of incorrect spelling or grammar),
but the second part has. Copy-paste of the first part into the second
(also as unformatted text) won't do the job.

In Word 2002, I set the new-document task pane to "show at startup". But
every time I open the program, the new-document task pane is not there, and I
have to open it manually in "view". Anyone know how to fix this?

Using Office 2003, Windows XP home.
I receive this error message when:
Opening Word or Excel, or
Opening a file in Word or Excel.

is there a virus of some sort? whenever i press the spacebar a dot appears

Even after the installation of the SP2 of Office and the proofing tools -
thru Microsoft update the Dutch spell checker now crashes the word  
application.
It did NOT so before the sp2 update. I guess SP stand Sorry Piece of work.

a document we have viewed on two different computers only views correctly on
one.  The symbols view as IDAutomationHC39M and any where there is a symbol
or bullet is leaves a symbol that looks like a long barcode.  This used to be
a WordPerfect document and is now a Word document ...

I am seeking for advise to eliminate an error message appears every time when
I open and close MS Word 2003.  The message reads "Microsoft Visual Basic -
File Not Found:DVZAddin.dll".  I will appreciate it if anyone can tell me the
purpose of this Add-in, and how to disable this ...

When ever I want to open a document through word I find that I am unable to
navivigate away from my documents as the application hands and does not
respond. If I use my computer and copy the file into my documents I can open
it. Any help would be much appreciated

     i am having the same problem now with OL2003.Word 2003. The only
suggestions i have gotten from various MVP's who have Outlook lists is to
not use word as my email editor.
     I would like to try this solution, but am not sure how to do it.

With certain documents I get the following problem:
A certain Word document has been stored on a network drive (G:\). I am able
to open the Word document, edit it, but when I want to "save as..." there
won't appear a window where I can choose a location at all, resulting in not

I have tried everything  but am unable to change the font   and  font size on
my normal template in Word-2003.
Ive never had this problem with earlier releases of Word.
