My saved documents  have smybols and special characters in them when you open
them.   Also today a paragraph symbol appears on each new page when you open
word.   I can not delete it.   I am seeing   * and other symbols in my saved
documents   Please assist

I have MS WORD 2000 running on win xp.
All of a sudden if I change my font size in my doc, it will not display
correctly. All fonts show the as the same size no matter what they are set
at. If I print the doc, it looks just fine, that is the font size prints

For some reason i'm unable to resize, crop or adjust an inserted image in
word.  The options are present on the Picture toolbar but are greyed out
(unavailable).  Any ideas would be sensational.

Word is freezing on the splash screen, or sometimes freezing after that, at a
point when "scanning for viruses" is showing in a status bar across the
bottom. This occurrs whether I've got NAV realtime protection enabled or not.

I work up a document in Word 97 and then save as word document but it saves
it as a wordpad document. I have tried saving as other documents and it will
only save as word pad document. Help

word wont start unless in safe mode

I have tried to save an existing word document to D drive but when i click
'save as' using that drive, up pops a box with 'incorrect function' I have to
click the OK button which then displays 'you do not have access to folder D.

Hello, I have microsoft office 2003. and I have  about 500+ word file on my pc.
now I cant open any of these documents, Word load, in the status bar show
the charachter counting"xxxx characters,approximate value)" and it stop
there.. it does not continue to load.

I have XP home edition and I keep getting the error "the operating system is
not presently configured to run this application" from any office app but I
need word.  Anybody know a fix to this.  Ive tried reinstalling office and
still does it.

I have downloaded a document, and it is in Italian, I need to translate it to
