I was updateing a document, received a telephone call asking me to verify
information in Outlook.  I clicked out of the Word document I was writing to
go into Outlook.  When I finished in Outlook I did not have the Word
document.  HELP!!!!

I have made a document containing 2 sections. In section 2 I used the "insert
autotext" option to insert "Page X of Y" numbering in the footer. When I look
at my screen the numbering works correctly but when I print my document the
numbering appearing on paper is "Page 2 of 2", ...

For proofreading purposes, I use a particular type of Word file in the
form of a 3-column table, with 2 colums formatted as hidden (I'm not
sure whether this is relevant for my problem).

I had a corrupted DOC file and I had successfully 'recovered' it using a
third party tool (R-Word by name). The contents are good. But there is a
small problem - when open in Word, the Find menu item under Edit menu is
disabled and I cannot do Find action (CTRL+F does not work).

After reinstalling Office 2003 following a hard drive replacement, I now get
the error "COMCTL32.ock or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:
a file is missing or invalid" each time I start Word.

i cannot get the subject to start unless i disable Norton Antivirus and
Internet Security.  how can i fix it?

For a certain internal application, link work OK when posted in Outlook
e-mails but show an error warning when pasted and clicked in Word.
However, if the application is open, the link in Word works OK and directs
me to the exact place in the application.

i keep losing my acrobat creator / create & email etc buttons that appear in
WORD and indeed some other toolbars do tend to come and go a little . i have

In my Word text, suddenly all equations disappeared and were replaced by
"Embed Equation 3".
I tried Alt+F9 to toggle but it does not work. I tried to select the whole
doc, equations one by one, not to select anything--nothing works.

My problem is that when I have marked text I want deleted, I usually just
write the replacing text.
However, my settings are now that the marked text is not being deleted when
I write the replacing text. How can I change the settings back?
