In Word 2000 with SP3 the application hangs and then closes when I try to to
format styles. Can anybody help me please.

I have a user that receives the above error message when opening a few files
that were all created using a template created by someone in our hq.

I've tried a couple different things recently, and both give me an error.  
I'm using Word 2003 SP1 (11.6502.6360)
1.  Trying to insert a wmf file, (Insert > Object > create from file >
display as icon) about 40mb, hangs forever, then gives me an error, "word is

I have several "templates" in word that are protected documents that allow
you to fill in text and tab between the entries.  Since the windows update
yesterday, they don't work anymore.  Any Thoughts.

I am using officeXP on a XP OS machine...
It's funny that everything I made on toolbar does not save on a working
sessionn with Word.
After sometimes walking around I found out that there is no file called

When I open any existing document I get this message:
  "This document could not be registered.  It will not be
  possible to create links from other documents to this
