Using Word 2000 with SP3 and only in MS word does the application randomly
crash.  This would usually happen when I am copy data to another part of the
document but now MS Word will intermittently shut down. I have tried to
uninstall and re-install the application but to no avail ...

Whenever I attempt to use any of the menus in word the pc locks and has to be
restarted. Eg: if i attempt to use the file menu the pc freezes, same for the
tools menu and so on. Word will start in safe mode and run ok. Their are no

I recently installed MS Office 2003 including MS Word 2003 (11.6568) on my
IBM ThinkPad T43. I was running Office 97 before. Operatng system is XP Pro.
All updates have been performed.

My web tools have a media player and a sound icon, and i used to use that
function alot on word 2000, for web pages, but they no longer work, files
must have got moved or renamed, can some one help me put it back so i can us
that function?

I'm using Office XP (I guess that means 2003).
Each chapter is in its own Word file.
Each chapter consists of one level 1 heading with sub-headings (level 2,
level 3).

Is there a way to set the default so word 2002 pastes text using the
destination style?

When I use Office's Speech Recognition funtions to type text into a Word
document, it also types text into other, non-Office products, that I'm using

Can anybody please help with the following problem.
I am using Microsoft Office 2003 and I have it set up to use Word for
writing e-mails.  Every time I try to create a new e-mail by using either
word itself or open new Office document and then pressing the E-Mail envelope

I have five instances of ACT! in my Word 2003 menu bar.
Also, Normal.dot asks if I want to save changes every time I close.

The word count feature is working well. However in Word 12, the word count
that appears at the bottom of the application appears inaccurate if the
document is spanned over two or more pages.

I am trying to delete an extra space between 2 footnotes.  I know that I
cannot delete the paragraph symbol at the end of the footnote.  How do I get
this space out of the footnotes?
