When I click on the yellow folder to view my word documents - the documents
are all there - but also have copy after copy after copy of the documents.

We upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003 on five machines.  Microsoft word
will now lcok up while typing or doing other function like merging.  It will
show the hour glass and not respond to any commands or keyboard input.  This
can last 2-3 minutes or just remain in the hour ...

In Word 2003, when I am typing in a document at some point the Spelling and
Grammar icon (the one that looks like a book with a pencil writing in it) at

I am using XP as my operating system and Office 2003, I am also using  a full
blown version of Acrobat v 5.0.  I understand that Adobe does not support 5.0
with Office 2003.  All I want is to get rid of the error message asking me if
I want "more information", "continue anyway", ...

I keep getting this strange error when I go to print. It says "the margins
of section one are outside the printable area of the page." If you allow it
to autofix the margins, it changes the bottom margin to 2.67. I'd appreciate

I create many documents using the draw feature to insert lines, triangles
and more complicated diagrams.
My preferences are to display the grid and have gridlines set at a distance
of 0.2cm apart for both horizontal and vertical spacing.

I am having problems with my Word 2003 SP1 opening extremely slow.  I mean I
can try to open a document and then go get a cup of coffee take a R&R break
and it still has not opened.
I am running Windows XP and this computer is only about 14 months old.

As subject states, and subsequently from file/open, I can't open files and
instead get a message saying "Can't follow this link - file might not be a
link". This sometimes, but not always, applies too to files in the drop down
list of recent documents.

My COM component is automating Word 2003.  For the vast majority of Word
documents there are no problems.  However, for some documents I get an error
like this when the program tries to save the Word document as an xml file:

I just did a system restore after an bad installation of another program, and
poof Word won't boot up any more.  I have tried downloading Service Pack 3
for Office XP (because I have Word 2002) but it says the service pack is
