I have newly installed Word 2003 on brand new computers - no previous
versions of Office were running.  They are running XPPro.
When I try to open a document by double clicking on it in a folder Word
opens but there is no document open - just the background screen.

We get an intemittent problems with users - if they have multiple Word docs
open - and they close one - then all the Word docs close
