When I open attached documents, the text has all kinds of symbols and

Here are some issues I am having with Word 2007:
- When I click on "Word Options," I can only access the "Popular" tab and
not the others such as "Display," "Proofing," etc.
- The vertical scrollbar does not work.

I receive the message "This document could not be registered.  It will not be
possible to create links from other documents to this document." when
starting Microsoft Word 2003.  This was a fresh install on a Windows XP SP2
machine.

I assume that my problems with numbering of chapters, headings,
subheadings arise from a normal.dot that accept changes "in the
flight". Even documents that have been correct before have now
incorrect numberings.

Anyone know what to do about the following errors that I get every time I
launch Word?  I can still use Word, but it’s damned annoying.  

I just got a new computer with Vista.  Word 2003 will not retain any
customizations to the toolbar.  Is this a Vista problem or a Word problem and
does anyone have any idea how to fix the problem

Everytime i close Word 2007 it crashes informing me that it needs to
recover the last used file, If i cancel it i get a message that the

I signed up for a free trial of office 2007 for 60 days spent 4 hrs
downloading the software and now I can not even use any part because it says
that the system is locked and I just signed up for it today!!! Somebody help

Every time I start word or excel, the license agreement comes up, and I have
to agree every time that I open another document.

I have downloaded office 2007 on trial. Aftere a few days the system is
completely jammed. I can only view the doc. but I cannot make any change. If
I try, the massege comes as the selection is locked. Pls help??

When I do not have Word open and I double-click on a Word file to open (and,
hence to launch Word), the following error window appears:
"The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open.  Click okay
and then close open dialog boxes to continue"
