I have MS Office Home and Student 2007 and I have Vista Home Premium. Onenote, Excel and Powerpoint all open quickly. But Word takes a long time to open. Around 3-4minutes. What is the problem? I uninstalled Office 2007 than reinstalled it, but the problem still happens

I have a Word 2003 document that has syntax like this: Jack's letter to Jill had words ("Text") and she liked it. When I open the .doc in 2007 it looks correct. If I save it in 2007 (.docx) format it saves correctly and prints correctly.

I cannot open Word documents directly from Windows Explorer. I have to start Word first, and then open then from withing the program. In Explorer, even using the Open or Open With options does not work. I can open other Office Professional files (Excel, etc.) from Explorer.
