When I select a sentence for cutting then activate cut it cuts but then
returns in the same place

This isn't a major problem, mostly just annoying. Word 2007 opens very
slowly, also, if I have more than one word document open and switch from one
to the other, word starts flashing. My computer met all system requirements.
I've never had issues with programs before. I have XP ...

When I bold, underline or italicise a selection of text, the whole document
takes on their characteristic.  To reset the problem I must "control-z" undo

Every thing works fine if I chose the edit individual pages, if I send it to
the print the input data is highlighted. Of course I've been using edit
individual pages to make sure things worked ok. But on the 80 page letter run
all inserted data is highlighted.

When opening Word from a shortcut, start menu or by clicking of a wordfile
directly the program opens (I think) and the Word icon appears on the
taskbar at the bottom of the screen (XP media).
