When I use a clients Office Word system and add via header / footer a page x of y when document is printed it shows as page 1 of 1, page 2 of 2, page 3 of 3 etc. When I view document in print preview is shows it as correct i.e. page 1 of 3, page 2 of 3, page 3 of 3.

2003 microsft word. i have unrecognized charector ( appear like a Pie sign) appear in the beginning of each sentence as i type anything with 2003 word. i tried hard to get rid of by deleting everytime, still does not go! what should i do?

When I update the table of contents in my doc it appears to work until I save the doc. When I save it all the borders on all the table in the doc disappear. If I try to open the saved doc it causes Word to hang. It's not a huge doc only about 60 pages. Any suggestions?

While typing a legal document I was using a three line separation between the end of a paragraph and the succeeding "header". After a while, word began to insert a three-line break between each paragraph irrespective of insertion of a header.

On one document, Word only prints part of the page - the "Heading 1" heading and the bullets, but none of the other text whatever. It prints a couple of other documents just fine. I cut and pasted the text via Notepad into a new document. This printed OK

Recipients can't open word 2007 documents sent as attachments. Attachments show a .docx suffix once received. What can I do to fix?

Hyperlinks are not copied and/or pasted correctly in Word 2007. Here's my process: 1. I right click on a hyperlink in Word 2007 and select "copy hyperlink". 2. I click on text where I need to paste the hyperlink to.

Windows cannot find c:\users\username\documents\word\filename.rtf Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. Every now and then I get this error when trying to open Word 2007 documents. I'm using Windows vista ultimate. Any ideas? Thx

Everytime I try to use "Save As" on new documents it closes Word and loses most of the document (back to last auto save). When I reopen Word I can try to use the restore , but often there is a large part of the doc missing. I have tried just using "Save" on default Document 1 ...
