Word has suddenly become very slow at loading documents. A simple one page
document takes about a minute to open. It seems to work fine once the
document is open. Can anyone help?

Word drives me to distraction. I,m using an A4 page, the set up knows its an
A4 page  but when I try
to add a border to an entire page it only does it on both sides. I,m almost

In Word 2002, the Insert Symbol function frequently enters a loop, where the
window updates continuously, and no commands are recognized. Pressing escape
repeatedly and clicking on the top bar manages to shut the window and return
to Word, but the function is rendered useless.

I have Office 2007 with Windows XP Professional.  I cannot print an envelope.
The font defaults to +headings which is all different characters.  I have
tried MANY times to change the default and it will not accept it and reverts
back to +headings.

I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do as far as
trying to download to word...whenever something needs to be downloaded to
word, a screen pops up and says what language can you read the file in????
In addition; while typing it constantly moves the typing ...

When I start up Microsoft Word an old document always comes up.  How do I get
rid of it for good so that it will be a new blank document each time I go
into Microsoft Word?

When I try to set up Page X of Y, I get this: "{PAGE \* mergeformat } | Page"
