Sometimes when I select and bold or center one word or one line, Word will
suddenly bold or center EVERYTHING in my document? I can get out of it if I
immediately click Undo. Then it rights itself, and the text I selected to
bold or center is correct.

I have placed a global macro into word's startup directory. It runs perfectly
EXCEPT...
Some users report an error message which states basically: ["macroname"
caused error when it was last accessed]

Is it possible to fix the problem in Word 2003, or does one have to buy the
new version?

I am not able to open documents in word. I am also having some problems
opening Word (2002) I have XP. I have to open it in safe mode which it seems
disables some functionality because when I try to open a document from my
documents or a disk, it lets me search for the document ...

I am trying to copy text and paste it as I've done a zillion times before,
but now when I copy/paste all it pastes is an asterik sign.  
I've obviously created some type of short cut and don't know how to fix

I'm running a portuguese (BR) version of MS Word. In this version, the
shortcut for bold text is CTRL + N instead of CTRL + B for english version.
Anyway, I've noticed a strange behavior when using this shortcut or even
other methods to make a text bold.

I'll be typing a document in word and for no apparant reason the cursor has
jumped up about 5 or 8 lines and started inserting the text here. Any ideas
what this could be? I'm studying a Creative Writing course so it's really
frustraiting. Thanks
