Whenever I try to save or open a file it crashes without any error message. It becomes not responding and crashes immediately. It occurs in safe mode as well. The problem is with all office program(with word, excel, powerpoint 2007s..)

I want to run detect & repair but it is not available. Rolling the mouse key over it produces an error message: "Disabled by your system administrator". I am however the system administrator and am unable to enable it!

On another PC in my office we have found that when a word is styled at Times New Roman, Size 9, Italic... it shrinks, but bring it up to a size ten it is fine. Change the font to Bodini its fine. It is only when it is in that exact format that it shrinks to and unreadable thing.. ...

If I use Find during a spell check, upon resumption spell checker flags words I've previously told it to ignore. This behaviour only began after I installed SP3 (and the File Conversion Utility, although I can't imagine that has anything to do with it).

I have a HP L7780 all in one. It does not happen with all documents, but it is a frequent occurance that the bottom half of the last line of text will not print. I checked with HP today - after going through several things they said it is a Microsoft problem.

When I delete Normal.dot, Word opens fine. If I close and open Word without deleting Normal, the splash screen just suits there without launching. Then once Winword process is killed, I'm offered to open in Safe Mode on

We have discovered a bug in Word 2007 running under XP sp2. When selecting some text within a table, and changing the formatting (ie colour/bold etc) it changes the whole document. If you then 'undo' the action, then several things may happen, either

I am runing windows XP sp3 and when typing ithe cursor suddenly jumps to a different place on the page such that I find myself typing in the middle of something else. The Word version is: Word 2002 10.267.2625 and I am using a laptop with a touch pad.

Got two unrelated sites, unrelated third party software but similar Word problems. In both cases word documents are saved to a server, and on both the server and local machines the documents can be opened, edited, printed saved etc,

I seem to recall having had this problem with an earlier version of Office, but it appears to have returned with Office 2007. Opening the programme seems to take forever, certainly in excess of ten seconds from clicking the desktop icon.

Word 2003 crashes when I try to convert a document into a pdf using Adobe. Please let me know if anyone has expereinced this before and knows a fix. Thanks, Jamie

Hi I have Word 97 installed on my system. Recently, I needed to install Office 2003 as well, as I received some docs that were not compatible with Word 97. I installed Word 2003 and told the installer I wanted to keep my old installation as well.
