Word crashes within, literally, five seconds of launch.  one two three
four CRASH!  It's almost comical.  It doesn't matter if I open a blank
document or an existing one.

Hi, I am getting a buffer overrun visual C++ error (program must be
terminated...) error in Word 2007. At first I thought it was specific to one
particular document I was working on, but I was able to duplicate the error
in a new blank sheet.

My system is Vista and I have MS Office 2007 When I send a word file as an
attachment the person that I sent it to can not open even if they have an
older word version. HELP

I'm using Microsoft 2000 and I opened Word today and the standard toolbars,

When I close down Word 2007, the message, "Microsoft Office Word has stopped
working" and then the message, "Microsoft Office Word trying to recover your

I find this bug in Word 2007, but not in 2003.  To recreate, do the
following:
1. Create the following bulleted, decimal tabbed line.  "  o The amount
charged is: .........$1.00  "

I am operating word and the spell check dialog box is not showing on the screen

I have Office 2007 installed on two machines; on one machine the Bibliography
style list is properly populated with the 7 shipping defaults. On the other,
however, theses styles are "Missing" and all options in this Command Group
are grayed out.

What can I do to fix this problem...something is not working right...

Upon copying text within Word 2007 and then closing the application, it
generates an application error.

I have a new Dell Vista machine which I installed Office Professional Plus
2007 on (student media version).  I installed the Service Pack 1 and the
Compatibility pack.  However, when I try to open .doc or .docx I get and

I thought I had this problem beat for some years, but of late NO.
It is simply to SET the language to En-Aust and for it to stop so set.
I have of late many times hit the language set in Word, marking Aus English
as the default, also in Windows utils from the Start/Office/Utils. ...

I have a very important document file.  One day I simply opened it, save an
entry (test) and saved as new doc with different title (to track, etc.).
Now it opens and looks like heiroglyphics!
Most of the characters are rectangular blocks!  Some looks Asian in nature.
