word xp (and other converting programs)cannot convert a
word 2.0 file, claiming:"The file is not the right file
type". The file was done in win 3.1 with word 2.0!
and opens on a win 3.1 machine. Any clue?

We have created several documents in Word that have been
saved to a MSDOS based file (MDB) and want to convert back
to Word text format.  Have unsuccessfully tried every
option found with no help.

I have Microsoft Word at work and created a document. I
saved the doc on a floppy and brought it home so I could
print it out in color on my printer.  I cannot get
Microsoft Works Word Processor to open the file. The file

I just had my computer updated from Windows 98 to
Windows XP. The computer used to have Works 6.0 , it now
hs Word 2002. I have files from Works saved on a disc and
i need to know how to convert them into Word documents...
