Is there a converter to download MS Works 7.0 to word?

I seem to be experiencing an issue in Word 2003 on a
Windows 2000 App server, with the caps lock on and off.
When I turn the caps lock on and then press shift and
type a letter then continue typing without shift I see

I AM SCANNING A DOCUMENT INTO MICROSOFT DOCUMENT IMAGING.
WHEN I SEND IT TO WORD IT LOSSES ITS FORMAT AND IS
CORRUPTED.  HOW CAN I KEEP THE SCANNED DOCUMENT THE SAME
AS THE ORIGINAL.

I need assitance converting a Wordperfect 8.0 text
Document to Microsoft Word 2002.  Do I need a converter
tool.  Or can I just basically open the file in Word and

I was wondering if anyone could help, I am trying to open a word 97 document
in office XP but for some reason I am losing the formating of the document,
I have checked to make sure that the conversion file is installed on my
computer and it seems to be there.

I have Word 97 on one computer and Word XP on another.  I
created a document in Word XP and tried to read it under
Word 97 and discovered that the format has yet again
changed.  So, I tried doing a "save as" from the Word XP

I recved a word document from someone who can no longer be contacted. It
came as an attachment, but when I try to open it, I get 'unexpected
error'. The accompanying message was simply 'It is a word document -
password merlin'. What does this mean and how can I open it?

When I import Word 98 documents to my Word 95, they do
not format properly. Highlighted areas on Word 98 are
missing. Quote marks disappear. Apostrophes are distorted.
Is there anything I can do about this?

I have several word documents in word 97 format that have checkboxes i
