Seeing that the majority of question regarding converting
a Works created docsto open in Word go unanswered, and
the fact that installing the coverter or doing a batch
conversion will not work, I am convinced that you CANNOT

Not sure if that is what it would be called. What I am
trying to do is take a word file and making some of the
pages have their own file.
 As an example; I have a file called "ARTICLES" - this

My tax program is in DOS and I can't seem to get the
PROGRAM COMPATIBILITY WIZARD to work.  I can get up the
DOS program but as soon as I attempt to post something in
it the screen flips over to something else.

Since MS doesn't care to provide an import filter, The
smoothest route seems to be to open documents in Word Pro
and save as a Word document. Is there a way to do a batch
conversion rather than manually exporting each file?

When I open my Word2000 software, a little pop-up screen
appears with my name and the administrator/registration
name of this product(which should be MY name again) and
the word2000 product I.D. number (# 50627-700-0940107-

I am using MS Word 2000 (9.0.2720) and someone gave me a wps file and it
opens as garbage.  I see where it looks like someone else had this problem
but I cannot find the solution in the newsgroup.  It must have expired.

How do I scan a printed document and insert it into Word.
If something was printed using Word, can I scan it on my
