We are operating in a mixed Word 97 / Word 2002. Lately
there have been several instances of Word 2002 not being
able to open some Word 97 files. All that happens is the
hour glass appears, but the file never opens and no error

If anyone could help, that wuld be great...I have
wordperfect 10.0 and send stuff to my boss who has word
98 and she can't openit, crashes her computer, etc. I
tried saving docs in word 97 but still crashes...

I have some word documents on floppys that are 10 years
old.  So the version of word is that old as well.  My
current version of word (2002) cannot open these.  Any
ideas?
