I'm using MS Word to build a webpage.  However, when I
use "view source" in MS word and try to insert alternative
text to an image (so words drop down when the pointer
hovers over the image), the html editor removes the alt=""

when i try to open a wordstar document in ms word, some
characters are not converted correctly. what is the way
out to convert a wordstar document to microsoft word

I have MS Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3)
It "crashes" with the following message when I try to open a 1,524kb
WordPerfect document:
"There is not enough memory or disk space to convert this document."

I'm having issues controlling the conversion of a Word
2002 doc to HTML using the filtering componemt. Word 2000
seems to have an add-in HTML filter which you can choose
which Word specific properties you wish to retian or lose

Is there a converter/  When Ilook, they all seem to

I recently upgraded to Word 2002 (from 2000).
In 2000 I could view and use a small toolbar that was placed there by Adobe
Acrobat 5 - thus enabling conversions to pdf.
The toolbar has disappeared in 2002 - not even in the View > Toolbars list.

I made an application that generates word ml files in Word 2003 (based
