I'm using MS Word to build a webpage.  However, when I
use "view source" in MS word and try to insert alternative
text to an image (so words drop down when the pointer
hovers over the image), the html editor removes the alt=""

I have MS Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3)
It "crashes" with the following message when I try to open a 1,524kb
WordPerfect document:
"There is not enough memory or disk space to convert this document."

I have printed Word docs out to PDF before and the  
hyperlinks have shown up (at other organizations). (I
have also printed Frame files out to PDF and the links
show up too.)

Word 2002 (XP) has changed behavior from Word 97 when using Paste
Special to paste text containing a nonbreaking hyphen.

I recently upgraded to Word 2002 (from 2000).
In 2000 I could view and use a small toolbar that was placed there by Adobe
Acrobat 5 - thus enabling conversions to pdf.
The toolbar has disappeared in 2002 - not even in the View > Toolbars list.
