Adobe PDF conversion errors with Word 200331 Jul 2004 09:29 GMT1
When I convert from Word 2003 to ADOBE PDF 6.0, I get
formatting errors, in the PDF file. (The document gets
scrambled in areas.)
Is there a fix or workaround for this?

Is there a program out there that will convert RTF docs to
TXT files, and allow the formatting to be maintained? (By
formatting, I mean tabs convert to spaces, headers are
included in the TXT files, etc.)

Collapse & expand buttons on individual documents in Word.22 Jul 2004 14:19 GMT2
Since updating to Word 2002 (running on Windows 2000) I can nolonger
collapse (minimise) or expand (maximise) a number of documents within
the Word frame. So the only way to have a number of documents open at
once is to have each document open in a separate copy of Word.

Will a file created in Word 2003 open in Word 2000 and still have the same formatting?21 Jul 2004 17:18 GMT1
Will a file created in Word 2003 open in Word 2000 and still have the same
formatting?  I've created a document in Word 2003 and I'm sending it to a
friend that only has Word 2000. Will he be able to open this file?  It's
heavily formated with a watermark and a page border.
What is 'really' the format of a .txt file?21 Jul 2004 12:44 GMT1
I am working with ASCII files generated on Unix system by COBOL programs
that come to me with no file. extension.
If I simply 'add' a .txt file extension via file rename, I can't read the
files...I get a message that says there is no content ('0' length file).
