I can't open a Word file that somebody has sent to me. I
have Word 97 SR2 installed on my PC. When I try to open
it, the "convert file" dialogue box opens up prompting me
to choose from a list. When I choose Text Only from the

I use MS Word 2002. When I try to read 1994 diskette I get "microsoft word
2002 path cannot be found. Go find Word.msi" Where do I go to find MSI, and
can my Microsoft XP 2002 ever adapt to read those older disks?

I think Microsoft damaged my Office XP suite. I had to
reinstall Office XP to another disk due to a crash.
Everything (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) was working

I have a customer who was recently upgraded from word97
to word2002.  The TOC in her document did not carry over
the formatting.  She is unable to go to the page listed
in the TOC simply by clicking on it.  When you click on

When my boss e-mails me a document in Microsoft Word 2000
(9.0.2720), symbols and apostrophes within the document
change when I open up the document on my computer.  The
spacing is also changed causing inconsistencies.

I am working on a hired computer with Windows and Office
2000 professional SP3. When I got it, I asked them to
install the file from the CD which allows me to convert

system.  I need to open a Works .wps file  in my Word 97
system, preferably without losing the formatting.
Can you point me in the right direction.
