Converting .wps files in word XP28 Feb 2005 04:01 GMT1
How can I read a .wps file  I do not have works, nor do I want it but I have
received several files that are .wps and it appears word can't convert.  Is
there another way??

When opening a WordPerfect Version 11 document in Word, the headers are
stripped out.  This occurs when the WordPerfect document also has a code
that says to discontinue header after page 1.  This is the case with

I have word 97 and I created a document with boxes drawn
around some of the text (I used the drawing tool). When I
try to convert to pdf (acrobat pdf maker or distiller 5.0)
one of the boxes appears empty. It's always the same one.

Since upgrading the Office 2003, when editing RTF documents I'm
getting lots of "insrsid" codes. This is playing havoc with some RTF
manipulation software.
I can't find any information about this code; Can anybody tell me what

I've send Word 2000 documents to a friend who cuts and pastes the text into
Frontpage for publication on his internet site.  However, the conversion
keeps coming up with  paragraph codes and the following codes between words

I need to be able to pull in some relatively simple Word files
(preferably of any vintage, but I'd probably settle for more recent
versions) for display in my Visual Basic 6 application.  Ideally, I'd
be able to display them more or less as they were displayed in Word --

Is there a program that creates an RTF document in a simplified form like
WordPad, but that can utilize (tables/cells) and headers?
I tried creating a blank document using WordPad and MSWord intending to view
the document using notepad (to see the applicable control words).
