How can I read a .wps file  I do not have works, nor do I want it but I have
received several files that are .wps and it appears word can't convert.  Is
there another way??

When opening a WordPerfect Version 11 document in Word, the headers are
stripped out.  This occurs when the WordPerfect document also has a code
that says to discontinue header after page 1.  This is the case with

Can anyone help me? I have windows professional and one of my hw assignments
is to do a memo in the memo wizard. For some reason it won't display.

I have word 97 and I created a document with boxes drawn
around some of the text (I used the drawing tool). When I
try to convert to pdf (acrobat pdf maker or distiller 5.0)
one of the boxes appears empty. It's always the same one.

I searched this site but found nothing on this subject. I
hope someone can help. I have a bunch of AmiPro 3.0 files
that I want to convert to Word 2003.

We have been using the Save-As function up through Word 2002 to save to .asc,
.ans and MSDOS Text with Layout.  Our I.T. Department recentely upgraded us

Since upgrading the Office 2003, when editing RTF documents I'm
getting lots of "insrsid" codes. This is playing havoc with some RTF
manipulation software.

text and the "table format") and make it a Word Document?

I've send Word 2000 documents to a friend who cuts and pastes the text into

i have 160 computers where i work and i have a assigment to update office 97
to office xp. all the 160 computers are with a network together and we work

I need to be able to pull in some relatively simple Word files
(preferably of any vintage, but I'd probably settle for more recent
versions) for display in my Visual Basic 6 application.  Ideally, I'd
be able to display them more or less as they were displayed in Word --

Is there a program that creates an RTF document in a simplified form like
WordPad, but that can utilize (tables/cells) and headers?
I tried creating a blank document using WordPad and MSWord intending to view
the document using notepad (to see the applicable control words).
