Yes. On seeing a word document. Chinese chars are written as u99999... codes. What kind of codification are used here. I must write a program to create a rtf document in low level using these codes. I found unicode useless for input chinese chars.

I have Office XP aka 2002 running on WinXP SP2. Have also downloaded (I think) most recent updates for Office. Have a regular need to create in Word, but then Save As WordPerfect format.

I have some English mailmerge documents that I am having written into spanish. In my english verions I have a field that automatically puts todays date in ( TIME \@ "MM/DD/YYYY" ) but's it has English months. Anyone know of a way I can have say January become de enero.

I am writing a code that needs to get all the font changes done in a doc. I am able to get the font of the paragraph with the Paragraph.range.font but with this I am unable to get the font changes or variations in between the paragraphs

I am sure in Word 2002 there is a simple way to replace a font with another font leaving unchanged all the text? Like in PowerPoint. Is there not? Tried Search and Replace, Format, Font with all sorts of Wildcards, no use...
