Maybe someone knows how to deal with this problem? I had several
documents created about a year ago. Now after reinstalling XP I can not read
the
documents, they contain funny characters. When I try to open one of them

At home I have 2003 version. I often take work home to do. Will there be
problems  if I save workk done windows 2003 if I then save onto the computer
at work which uses word 2000.

Am using Office 2003. I anticipate the need to convert several word
documents with lots of embedded images to HTML to add them to an HTML
Help file. I have tried converting a sample document with Word's
builting converter, and I get the warning "Pictures and objects with
conversion dialog at url open03 Jan 2006 22:43 GMT1
is there any way to avoid the conversion dialog box (say, set a default
conversion) when opening a file from a url with the file being a text file?
any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

when i convert,using solid converter pdf,pdf files to word,some symbols are
not converted.
I say matematic symbols as "minore uguale,maggiore uguale,appartiene"
ecc...
