Disabling HTML conversion in Word 9728 Apr 2006 01:34 GMT1
I'd like to permanently disable conversion of HTML documents when
opening them in Word 97.  I have been using Word 6 as a workaround, but
a) the 8.3 filenames sometimes make locating the desired file a
problem, and b) my scrolling mouse doesn't work in Word 6.

I can find all kinds of Print drivers that convert the output to PDF. But my
boss has a nut on, and wants everything in .DOC format. This is hard to do
with programs that do not support data export just the print option.

My problem is I am using Acrobat 6 Pro to convert .pdf's into word
documents and after the conversion the "word document" is cut off on

Need to save a word doc to a tif file format.  customer has a fax server
computer with acustom fax outbox but it accepts only tiff files for sending.
All we would need to do is to be able to say save as filename in tif format
to the outbox, it would pick up th new file and send it ...

I wrote a Text Converter. It works fine with Word XP and 2000, but in 2003 i
have these 2 problems:
1. Word 2003 shows a security warning when using my converter. Is there a

My niece has a Lexmark printer.  She scans her homework and sends it to
me email.  She is not very good with file formats and such but her
Lexmark must automatically take her scan and OCR it and save it as an
RTF file which works great for homework unless it has graphics..

Hey, hoping someone can help.  I have documents in Word 2003 that I
want to save periodically as plain text files for archive purposes.
I'd like to have a macro do it.  The problem is the document has
