I can not seem to be able to change the size or to do anything to a picture

I want to write a questionaire and give it to people electronically. I am
doing it in word and I do not want the document to go over one page after the
users have entered the answers, is there a way to stop the document going

I have an old brochure with a picture on it.  The text overlaying the picture
is transparent so that you can see parts of the picture within each outline

I use Smart Quotes for all my Word documents and have never seen a problem.
Leading and trailing quote are up "high," i.e., up near the top of the text
rather than having the leading quote dropped down to the foot of the text (I
