When I cut and paste and delete footnotes, Word seems to leave invisible
footnotes where the footnotes were. So, consecutive footnotes (e.g., 3 and 4)
may appear with large gaps between them (3 and 6). This goes on from page to
page. Reveal formatting, show hidden text, etc., ...

I am trying to use the Macro option to fill in the same name in many
different places in my letter.  How do I use this feature?  Do I need to set
up a data base?

I've linked an Excel Spreadsheet into a Word doc but the Excel doc, a page

Doug helped me fantastically with a macro in Word, thank you, now when
I try to run it, a new document opens and I get a runtime error 5941,
which pretty much means there is nothing in the document.  I would like

I am trying to find words with bold format and delete the substring [0,5] of
all occurences
All words are longer then 5 letters.
I am able to find the words with the format but I cannot delete the substing.

Have reinstalled Word with same results - could be printer driver ???  Not
certain of what local printer he is using.

I have a bunch of older MS Works files that i need to convert to Word 2003.  
When I try to open them using the filters for both "Works 6.0 & 7.0" or the
other "Works 7.0" they appear scrambled.  Is there a utility to batch convert
these files?
